The 7th round of the East Hungarian championship was held at Ă“zd last weekend. This was an important race for me because it was in my hometown, organized by my club and I had to do my best not only as a racer, but also as an organizer too. Fortunately I knew the carpet well so finding the right setup was easy for me. The grip was very good right from the start of the qualifications. I could win all three qualifications with a big lead as I expected, so I easily got the TQ position on the grid.
In the finals I could achieve smooth start to finish wins with calm and precise driving. As an organizer I haven't got time for my car, but it performed very well during the day, even in the increasing grip conditions. I just made some small changes, which I tested before. This was a perfect result for me with a great car.
